Code of Ethics

The International Journal of Mathematics, Science, Technology and Management aspires to select and publish, through peer review, the highest quality research. In order to achieve this goal, the entire peer review and publication process should be thorough, objective and fair. Journal reputation depends heavily on the trust by all stakeholders in the fairness of the peer review and publication process. A formal code of ethics, outlining guidelines for good behavior and proposing solutions to ethical dilemmas facing Authors, Editors and Reviewers, can build stakeholder trust and improve journal reputation. It is a tribute to scholarly practice that the system works well and problems are comparatively rare. The publisher has a supporting, investing and nurturing role in the scholarly communication process and is also ultimately responsible for ensuring that best practices are followed.

Aim & Scope

This journal aims to bridge the gap between pure academic research journals and more practical publications. So it covers the full range from research, application development to experience reports and product descriptions.

The objective of the journal is to publish and discuss fundamentals, applications and experiences in the field of Mathematics, Science, Technology and Management. Submitted papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the Journal and Association. The journal maintains strict refereeing procedures through its editorial policies in order to publish papers of only the highest quality.

This is an open access journal, so all published papers are freely available online. In particular, IJMSTM strives for making the research as accessible of possible. Thus by profiting from its new online nature the journal does encourage the submission and publication of additional material to help the understanding, application and further development of research.
